    looks good to me, although i dunno if you need the buried loop where the ring goes, i think you could just brummel the ring in tight and then finish with the end to end splice. be sure to get the measurements right, samson has videos on youtube

    according to some splicing pdf instructions i read for a locked brummel eye splice you make each one the thickness of the rope apart, i tried it and compared it to the sling i got from treestuff and it looks pretty much the same

    does a 16 strand end for end splice exist? i swear i saw it somewhere but it might have been for 24 strand, ive got about 280ft of new 16s trand to make some goodies and i would like to make some loop slings for speedlining and whatnot, anyone know if its possible? ive only seen sewn loops

    X-ring, ring and ring sling info

    has anyone ever used a loop ring sling attached to an ultrasling to make it a removable 2 ring ultra? I kno i can make it with 2 rings but id like the option to usethe 2 slings seperate or as 1 for different things. Trying to make the most of my only 2 large abr rings.
