It’s a good solid product. No question about it. U just have to be able to work with machines other than Carlton. If u want to depend on him to give u a plug n play kit, it’s almost not possible.
no, my machine is 2008 model. u need to go to Vermeer and ask for electrical and hydraulic wiring diagram for ur machine or map out ur self and connect to kurt's remote receiver box.
It’s not an easy install. U have to have extensive knowledge on electronic. Because Kurt is a pain to deal with. The only option for people is to buy his remote for Carlton and wire it for sc60
won't work well for me. I'm right-handed, so my saw is on the right side and my flip lines have to be on that side too so I can use my right hand to flip to the left.
just bought a 2008 bobcat 430 mini-X from Bobcat stl yesterday, one owner, 900 hours, farm machine. 42 Hp diesel, 16' reach and 10' digging depth. will be a good addition to my fleet. no pictures yet, they'll repack some cylinders and replace muffler next week before they can deliver it to me.
Thx. everybody. great information. I'll b looking for a regular no-dump flatbed F550 maybe 20' long. Hopefully they exist. I was pleasantly surprised when I found my 7.3 F550 with a 14' chip box.
UP equip, if u have the answer that I'm looking for here, please advice and I thank you. I'm not ready now to decide which brand of lift I'll be getting, so save your time on that front. I need to know the length of the bed I should buy. If there is a clearance issue with the out riggers when I...
slow down. I'm not "sold" to anybody. I'm merely here to learn what truck I should buy that can do when I thought it can do. I'm open to CMC, easy lift, treupen or whatever they're out there. I'm not seeing that I'll use it as a "bucket truck" although I'd like to. Primary purpose is to carry...
this is the kind of lift I have in mind to buy when I'm ready. Now, just getting a flat bed truck that can be used for this in the future.

Additional features such as ability to "truck mount" this self-propelled lift, on an...
that bed looks like 8' long. so 14' bed can probably take a bigger lift, maybe a 75'. I get it 12K LB is too much for a 550, so maybe I should plan for a smaller unit, like 75 or 83. over here in st. louis, we don't have trees that's way over 80'.
I tried all kind of shirts and settled on long sleeve Husqvana. nice tight zipper all the way to ur neck to keep saw dust out, nice chest pocket. The link is a short sleeve one. I have to wear long sleeve for safety.
As far as pants, I only climb with Arborwear ascender. Great combination...
tossing around ideas for my next investment. I'd like to find a 2000ish 7.3 F550 with a flat bed that's long enough to carry my future spider lift when I can no longer climb often, preferably a dump bed. For those who already have a lift, what's the minimum length of flat bed do i need? I can...
