Random, but do batt saws blow chips around less? Less cleanup for a yard that has to be perfect?

I can’t imagine it would be less except perhaps for the narrower kerf chain on most of these.Random, but do batt saws blow chips around less? Less cleanup for a yard that has to be perfect?

The first part is just a 3120 screaming in a cloud of red dust!
One of the most popular questions I get from clients is, “Do you rock climb too?!” Today I even got asked if I do mountain climbing. I always answer that usually, at the end of the day, trees are enough for me.Smith Rock State Park, OR.View attachment 98181

Yeah, I guess.Mick, do you have any access to a rental lift? Looks like good climbing work if inaccessible. Looks like a good lift job if accessible.
Most of my work isn't lift- accessible, so I haven't seriously pursued any kind of lift.
Show us how it’s done!!! You’re looking great up there!!!!Volunteer work for a senior citizen that is mostly bed ridden. First ride on a crane in a while.

Yesterday was a challenge - that ended successfully. It was a 30-inch DBH 100-foot tulip poplar with a hard back and side lean that needed to be pulled over. It's the one in the picture with the stem covered in vines. The stem landed suspended on the stump in the third picture. It required around 4,000# of pull to counteract the back lean and to bend the hinge. I used a rope puller as a safety line and secondary pull line. The GRCS pulled a 10,400# MBS rope through a block and back to the GRCS anchor tree for a 2:1 mechanical advantage. We took our time and were very thankful to God for the results.
