Get out there, new guy!!!Not exactly today but all this week. Working "part time". Been a long time since I've been the new guy but I'm the new (old) guy. First day was Monday, Side hustle Tuesday, Wednesday 1st Z meeting and tomorrow another work day. Trying my hardest to get back into it.View attachment 98381View attachment 98382View attachment 98383View attachment 98384View attachment 98385View attachment 98386
Looks like a lower D attachment on his saddle.Wow, it looks like you're really 'into' it. What's the gold and black item you're using here? It looks very sturdy and versatile.

Take all the easy Fridays you can get, right!?Nice help from Mother Nature. Easy job and the burn pile <20ft. Worked 1.5 hours and I’m done for the day. It’s Friday!
Yup every time!Take all the easy Fridays you can get, right!?
Buckets are an exceptionally nice tool. Some easy bucket work, would have been a real pain to have to climb all the trees I did here in like 90 minutes.

I can see the staunch climb-only crowd having a point when referring to certain types of jobs…super tall trees, inaccessible trees, dense crown trees needing interior work, etc. There’s truth in that. Sometimes. Some easy bucket work, would have been a real pain to have to climb all the trees I did here in like 90 minutes.

But give a good climber a bucket and watch what happens!
Seems like you got the radiator situation figured out?
That’s good to hear. I have a 20 year old mini-ex that gave me fits with issues. Thankfully the local dealership’s road tech is an ace and knew how to find where the issues were. The harness was rubbed down in several places from vibration over the years causing shorts in a few circuits. He traced the whole harness, found and fixed them all. That was not cheap either, but well worth it every time I use the machine. Glad to hear your truck is tight now. Keep that puppy goin’!Yah, that was just caked on debris causing overheating when I bought it and drove it home, I've had new problems since then!Mostly small things, but it did need a whole new engine wiring harness, which was NOT cheap. Lots of coating on the wires had cracked off (presumably from the added heat of spending its life in Nevada) which was throwing a bunch of codes. Other than some hoses, wires and missing parts, which are all pretty much addressed now, it's been treating me well.
