Re: workers comp rated R

When I first got workers comp I remember the Sate of Ohio trying to shake me down for extra $$$$. It has been 12 years, but I kept calling and persisting and they finally dropped it down to something I could afford...

I certainly know nothing about Arizona (except it's hot), but I would see if you can't find a better answer than that... If not get on a plane and head up here... We've got plenty of work for you!

He is right about that. So, why worry about all that when someone else can. Make the move. You will have free health ins, 401k, personal days, bonuses, and have a chance to work storms and bring in that extra cash. It is a excellent place to work. So, drop what your doing and come up here and try it out.

I know this won't help you. But, we're lucky in Colorado. Business owners don't have to cover themselves. It is optional.

Optional here too. But if we do elect coverage it is only good to $26000 but the premiums are near a quarter of that.

If you have carried liability insurance before you might check out FarmFamily.com for both GCL and WC.

I don't know if they write WC in AZ but the wrote my WC here and it is reasonable for my small outfit. just a little over 17% of payroll.

Hope that helps!

17% sounds great im calling them tomorrow. Im doing 33 percent through the state fund right now.

Yeah I would check out Farm Family. They saved me a couple grand when I made the switch. And I was dealing with three seperate companies for GCL, WC and commercial auto. Now it's a one stop shop which makes things easier.
