A job on an 'outer island', aka not ferry-served, so you need to take a private barge to get equipment there. My buddy is doing the sitework for a new house build, so I agreed to do the tree work needed to put in the driveway. A simple project, just climb and remove a few firs, chip the brush, haul away the logs. The biggest issue on these jobs of course is logistics, so I brought over my 'backup/b-team' chipper in case it got stuck over there longer than planned. Everything worked out as expected, but that isn't always the case. Went over on the barge with the equipment, returned in a private boat the same afternoon and the chipper was barged back the next day.

I made four climbs to get all the lower limbs off this black cherry before dropping it between two pines with no damage to either one.

Cutting it into pieces I could move with the hand truck took a while. Thankfully, a guy half again my size showed up and tossed them in his truck to use as firewood.
