Got to work with my favorite crane op in the whole world for an hour today! (Larry, Devon). Starter on my truck crapped out (sudden death) tonight at second job (no crane), so the day started off better than it ended.

So broke away from the job today to look at a real mess.

Client had the (3) sheds moved today and committed to our plan of 2 - 36 ton cranes for Monday. Going back tomorrow to prep the area for crane access and removing a couple extra trees of concern. I'm hoping I can get pictures and maybe video of the removal.

Easy one picker with the 75 ton.... Apparently Dave was using our regular 40 ton!

Still got stung a ton through the bee suit and my gloves. Last pic was 12k and some asshole called OSHA on us so we had to sit through an inspection. Minor infractions.

I hope so. We took the logs to the lot. Lots still flying on the jobsite. Got stung again down the block at my truck. Like 600 feet away. I'm sure we lost a lot on the trip back but the logs were placed in the chip box instead of the log truck to protect them. Last pics were at the lot. So I'm hopeful. The bees outside the cut were chill enough and kind enough to donate some honey comb to the crew so unless we eat her it should be ok. They hit us on back up alarms. Swinger horn. Chain catch on 1 saw and the safety switch installed backwards for the cutter wheel cover on the chipper so that's nothing compared to if he really looked hard. He said he is always objective on complaints because they are usually competitors or former employees. He also said if I had been riding the ball he would have been cool with that unless I was tied in to the hook instead of above the ball. He was actually not a dick at all.

METH TEETH STRIKES AGAIN!!!!!

That's exactly who we think reported is because he told us he was also looking at an unreported accident. Meth teeth threatened to call if we didn't give him his job back. The boss said sure and offered a complementary ass kicking on his first day back. Naturally he declined.

That's cool guy. Any time I deal with honey bees I call an apiary in the area so they can grab the queen when the hive is lowered down. It must be worthwhile for them because they never charge and usually rush out.

Wow [emoji33]
¿Cómo le hacen para hacer un corte tan cerca de las abejas?
Acá en México los Bomberos rocían con agua y jabón. Si las abejas mueren, así queda el árbol, si no mueren así lo dejan y nadie puede acercarse [emoji29]

Began to get a better view of our work area for Monday. We removed a beech with a bad scar, tulip poplar leaning toward a house and several smaller gum trees. Decided to call it a day at noon.

Mini skid will be in first thing Monday to move the wood out of the way and spread the chips around the root zone of the remaining white oaks. And around our stumps. The cranes are arriving at 8.
