Work Photos

Mi no comprehendo.

Here's a translation:

Which make for do a cut near the female bees, dumb*ss?

Here in Mexico the Bomberos rocian with water and jabón. If the bees mueren (fly, or come out?) then queda (something hasty) the tree, and if they don't fly then you do the opposite.

Sorry, but what didn't you understand about this message? It plainly says do your work, be clever, and don't get stung enough to die. ;)

EDITED>>>>>>I didn't make that cut and was very disappointed that they did. I certainly wouldn't have made that cut. The groundies did. They should have cut until they got close but even so the log wouldn't have fit in the chip box.

Began to get a better view of our work area for Monday. We removed a beech with a bad scar, tulip poplar leaning toward a house and several smaller gum trees. Decided to call it a day at noon.

Mini skid will be in first thing Monday to move the wood out of the way and spread the chips around the root zone of the remaining white oaks. And around our stumps. The cranes are arriving at 8.

Do you still have the Ford with the dump insert with the custom hdpe box? You were a big help when I built the box for my truck a number of years ago. Guess this is a belated thank you. Saw your Facebook page and some of your latest pics, looks like you've grown and are doing well. Congrats!!!

We've had some high temperatures with extremely high humidity lately (heat index over 110°F) here in SEVA, so that suit must've been absolutely miserable to wear!
Normally heat doesn't bother me. Came as close to passing out as I have ever been after like 90 min in that suit, nothing to drink, getting stung multiple times and dragging the 660 around that big trunk. When I came down I laid on the cool concrete driveway for a while.

Well the dumb ass comment was unnecessary and for your informacion I didn't make that cut and was very disappointed that they did. I certainly wouldn't have made that cut. The groundies did. They should have cut until they got close but even so the log wouldn't have fit in the chip box. So they second point being speed. If you can cut faster than a bee can fly they you're a miracle worker. Having said that. Know your audience before your first posts on a board are calling people dumb asses.

A more astute translator would not have added in the superfluous, outrageous, and insidious term dumb*ss, which clearly was not included in the post of @Mónica MH. You get what you pay for, Steve.

@Steve Baker no problem I'm glad to help anytime I can. I still have the truck, dumper and box but I took the box off because I got the chip truck. The box sits on my back lawn as it stands right now. I am still determining if the body is going to stay in the truck or if I'm going to build a dump trailer out of it. Or if I will leave it all as is for extra chip space or a back up.
Keep an eye on the FB page we have been trying to keep up with it now that we are full time. Mainly for our customer education side.
Thanks

Wow [emoji33]
¿Cómo le hacen para hacer un corte tan cerca de las abejas?
Acá en México los Bomberos rocían con agua y jabón. Si las abejas mueren, así queda el árbol, si no mueren así lo dejan y nadie puede acercarse [emoji29]

I would like to retract my previous insulting reply to this post. Please accept my apology. I should have taken the time to get your translation. "

Monica MH's translation

"Wow
How do you make a cut so close to the bees?
Here in Mexico, firefighters sprayed with SOAP and water. If the bees die, so is the tree, if not die so let it and nobody can approach"

Its ok, i can read better than i can write. I like read all most i can in tree buzz, but some times i don't understand and i translate many things. Thanks for take your time, I learned many things seeing your work's photos because in Mexico this things here don't pass.
I would very much like to know how it sees the pruner who made that cut in the trunk, so close to the bees.
Thanks Steve [emoji5]

Today's double crane removal went very well. Going in I figured it was going to be a long day. Even brought extra water and snacks. The split portion and hangers were cleared by 11am and the first crane out by 11:15. The other crane repositioned for the standing part but was pulling out by 1230. All chipped up, wood cut, paid and rolling out by 4. Home before dark!!! Thanks a bunch to @TheCraneManInc Ryan and Angelo.

I really wish I had a photographer that could do nothing but take pictures for projects like this one.
If my ground guy ever gets his pictures to me I'll post a few of them. He said he got some good ones.

This past Saturday job did some tree maintainece/ enhancement for real estate company trying to sell an estate.

0823160901_resized.webp I haven't been doing much work that is photo worthy lately. Trimmed up some ash and Austrian pines for the local brewery's new location and they paid me in beer! 2 pints and 2 sixpacks when I bid. 1 pint and 2 sixpacks on completion (I would have drank another pint, but I had to drive the truck and chipper after). A whole crap load of beer cards on billing. Work was pretty safe on this one, but the pay is the dangerous part!
