I think your wood is bigger than camerons wood.
Someone ought to start a biggest wood thread - east of the rockies only - or Beranek would kick our butts.

Mike thanks for the info. Nice rig. Could you post a pic of the controls. Are the electric with battery pack or batteries? It looks like all those extension are hydraulic is that right? Where are you located? Sorry for all the questions but its like a kid in the candy store. /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'd like to see the pics. Anybody got the time to resize them and/or lower the quality a little? 640K apiece is just too much for my poor little connection at the moment.

allmark, i'll look for a picture of the remote. it's a scanreco brand another good brand is hetronic (you might check for websites) they have 6 or 8 paddle controls with nice hand rests (incase the crane makes you lazy!) and 2-3 nicad batteries (one charging and one in remote) switch them once every 2-3 days controls are fully proportional. you can slow them way down (heavy loads) or speed them up (unloaded) way faster than speed of avg. bkt trk.

glens, sorry i barely got these photos on here (there be one or two small photos in the 2006 i.s.a. catolog)

Yeah, thanks Butch.

Mahk, attached is a 280K archive of smaller versions (30% size). They could have larger detail for the same file sizes if they were cropped, but that's not so automatic to do. I was able to have them fetched while I slept -- my "whining" was more to make a point: "Be kind - please resize".

I've got a question about the boom. When it's being extended, do all segments extend proportionately and together or do the smaller ones extend up-to fully first and then work their way down, or vice-versa?
