who here uses a throwline?

Riggs has never asked a tree related question. He knew it all the day he was born. When the doctors drew his blood that day they got a syringe full of bar oil and when they tried to get a urine sample he pissed Zing-it.

Get off the high horse Riggs, if you even know what that means. There's nothing cool or useful in tearing up a new guy for the crime of being, what, a new guy? Offer help or STFU while others do it for you. Don't hijack his thread and make a fool of yourself in the process. I swear I need a degree in Primitive Linguistics to translate your gibberish into anything resembling a cogent thought.

Before you post again, just answer this one question for me:

Also- yes, throw line is essential in some situations, especially if you can access the tree SRT and don't need to isolate the limb. Ask away, Bob.

Daniel, you my friend are wrong. If this were a "gob club" there would be a lot less people here. I like the mix of opinions and views. That's why everyone is allowed here. If you act poorly you get warned. If you do it again you get warned and maybe time to think. If you still disregard what we ask, then you get banned. Seems fair to me. What do you think?

The people that call it a gob club are the ones that have had public arguments with other members here. That's how I see it.

It was so disfunct anal 6 years ago. Lots of threads dissolved into mayhem like this one.

The northeast U.S. is world famous for rudeness. The rest of the world doesn't get the joke sometimes. But we're learning.
 
I DID LIKE THE MAYHEM! I got a lot of learning and a lot of laughs out of my time spent here. Learning can be had here, but not with out a professional mentor steering you the right way everyday at work. and that is what riggs has been saying the whole time.

The whiners just want to wear Bobs feeling on their sleeve cause Riggs busted their nuts at one point or another.

This thread needs a kum-ba-ya song with danny boy and tommy the tree guy leading the way and then a suck Bob the Climber off session so that He can learn to suck you off properly......

I'll just share an opinion here because I like this site.


I think some people get bent out of shape cause a newb asks a question that they should research and experiment and learn for themselves.
Could be they are upset cause this newb wants it handed to them and that irritates the old crusties. Sometimes it bothers me too.
Fact is there are lots here that are happy to point the newb in the right direction and actually get a feeling of satisfaction from doing so. It isn't c---k sucking it's helping a kid out. It is as some say, kumbaya feel good hand holding, and if that bothers you so much perhaps a little self reflection is in order.

some people are pricks, I get that. in life in imaginary land here, I do not have a problem with people being themselves when they are contributing things to the conversation. My trouble with riggs specifically is I have never in my time here (which is admittedly short) noticed him contribute anything, but venom and racism. the moment he starts talking about trees my beef ends. The only thing tree related is the pic of the year thread

This thread IS stupid and I have contributed to that, so... sorry for the wasted space.
 
I have to agree with Mac. There was a line crossed with the hanging comment. All I can think about is someone actually hanging himself. This thread then goes public, and there's a sh!tstorm on the news. I wouldn't agree with the blame-game that followed but I wouldn't wish that headache on anyone.

Anyway, my remark on too much babying these days wasn't directed at the Buzz. Just society in general.

Maybe I don't get it Daniel, and as you say, that could be alright. Maybe I just have too thick skin myself because I have only had an issue with one person once and then I got over it. People say what they say and I don't want to control what is said that I disagree with. Its fine. Actually it is better than fine. Differences in opinion and such make for good debates and sometimes even fun arguments. We just try to watch when people get too offensive.

I just looked at the " hanging" comment again and still don't take it seriously? Sorry. And I agree with many who have said that too many people (in the world and in tree biz and buzz) are babied to the point that it makes it hard for them to be released into the wild

Glad to hear your contributing to the conversation. Winter slow down with work? I know you backed off a number of years ago.. guessing you've just been too busy with other commitments to spend a lot of time online.. Good for you, but not good for the buzz... JMO...
