Who has a website?

www.maxburtontrees.com

I created the site with a program called Nvu. It's a free program that takes a little bit to learn, but once I did the site came out great...I think. Let me know what you guys think of the site. The entire purpose of the site is to get the visitor OFF the site and on the phone! I'm paying Google a fortune to promote it. So far, not much luck in that category. But you gotta have a site.

Looks great. Every place you go it leads to you. It should work if people are looking to hire tree people from the net. I wonder how many do? Is it better as a supplement? Just my thoughts in general not toward your site. I think if you refer potential customers to it they will be impressed and call.

Thanks Mark. They make good sites. There is nothing better than a "user friendly" site. I like a web site which you can navigate around as if you have been there before.

Max: Not bad for your first site. Good work. I have some "geek" friends who will help me out. At least they can get the site "on it's feet." I'd like to be able to update and modify things by myself to save on further costs and to add my personal touch to it.

max, nice looking site...heres on thing i'd change though...

"Give us a call! Your tree will be evaluated professionally, and a course of action will be recommended."

i'd say "if necessary a course of action will be recommended"

Wolf, I like the look of your prepage.

I have a "prepage", too. www.splicesbynick.com It's nothing at all. Only took me about 15 minutes to set up, once the domain was registered.

I'm working on the layout of the whole site right now. It's quite a big project. I am going to do most of it myself. I'm taking some classes on how to do Dreamweaver so I can have control of my own site.

Should be fun!

love

That looks like a great start for a professional site.

hi jamin. our site has been great for business; text, photos and there for life- a snip at £700 when compared to a one year add in a phone directory.the guy who did ours was spot on. his link is at the bottom of each page (zumm).

we tried to avoid talking about how we actually work, and more about what our customers actually want and can expect to get.before and after pic.s help with this.

if i buy a radio i couldn`t care less how they made it or whether they`ve got insurance, i just want to know what it sounds like.

This is a good thread. I've visited all the sites posted so far and the links are great. I don't believe it would bother anyone to use some of these sites in my link page also. Thanks
