Which to choose? Mini Skid Steer

Maybe I'll try the basic sales line (get a different sales guy). The dealers down here stay specific to their area. I just so happens that they sell morbark too and they were a problem then as well. I called another and he wouldn't touch the sale, demo or anything. They didn't even want to sell me parts to fix my old machine until I explained what I was up against. I'm looking at the used unit Friday. If it's not satisfactory I will make another attempt.

No dirt yet, I'm currently focusing on "targets of opportunity" or a used machine cause that's what is in front of me. We will see if that is the worm in the tequila or the turd in the punch bowl. Wasn't planning on dropping this cash right now, so used looks good! And hell if I'm gonna drag brush till I figure this baby machine out.

I agree with that logic, completely, but almost the same $, with zero % in some instances, is worth considering.

Boxer 532dx.

Was told they wear when used to carry heavy loads, as all the weight is on them. Maybe typical. I use it to capacity. Got the track back on, and onto the trailer. Will source bearings locally tomorrow. Maybe no big deal and normal wear and tear?????

I wanted real bad To like that machine, but I've heard they had issues.

Was it both sides at the same time?

I've been replacing middle rollers on my sk650. The bearings were falling out. My ditch witch mechanic advised me to buy the whole roller because it avoids side issues... upon removing the old rollers and looking at them, I can see why he advised me so.

I've never heard of anyone having success replacing the bearings on a Boxer idler, I only sold assemblies. $278/each, shipping included I believe they were.

I don't deal with Boxer anymore, hence the past tense.

Well last week, something began to go sour with the engine on my 25G. It looks so sad sitting outside my garage. It still runs but there is definitely something wrong. So I went out and rented an SK752 for a week. I've only used it on a few jobs, but have been thoroughly impressed by its speed, controllability, strength and overall design. Cool thing is the rental yard has a 2016 with under 300 hrs for sale which I think is at a fairly reasonable price, < $24K.
I read a little about the 752's on this thread but am looking for any additional comments about minor or major hassles, headaches and positives guys have had with these machines.
If I buy it it's going to be a little bit of an operational change for me due to its size, but I think we can manage and it might make life easier when it comes to logs anyhow. I do intend on fixing the wheeled machine for the really tight places, loading a forgotten implement and general work around the house.
Any comments regarding the 752 are appreciated. Thanks
I paid 21k new for mine so you can use that as a bargaining point I use mine daily and Gehl is sitting collecting dust in barn it's a great machine and I don't know how I've been doing tree work with out it great machine all around only complaint is it loses power on steep hills with big loads but I can live with that. If you end up getting it you'll be happy you did good luck

Thanks for the information. One of my calls next week is to the dealer to see what it's gonna cost for a brand new one. I have noticed the power drop when on hills. It's much more significant than the Thomas but it also goes twice as fast on flat ground. And I'm predominantly a flat lander with some hills but not often.

They had them on sale due to the model being re stickered as the sk800 same specs as sk752 I paid $20,990 I'll deal with the power drop for that price drop
