whats your favorite beers

Pliny The Elder from the Russian River Brewery in Santa Rosa, Ca.(Double IPA)

After all Pliny was the first Arborist. Look him up in the history books and see for yourself. Let's not forget he also named Hops. 49 AD to 79 AD

Also at the brewery is Pliny the Younger a triple IPA.

For the single IPA lovers is the Blind Pig. Award winning beers from Vinnie the brew master. Dr. Hops as the local folks reffer to him.

The sad truth about any beer is you only rent it for a little while...

Pliny for President 2012!!!!

I can't BELIEVE you guys! What kind of Treeman would drink anything besides Budweiser?

If you want to call it something else like ale or bitter or something that's fine... but let's not desecrate the sanctity of our defacto national beer by calling these other vacuous liquids beer.

I haven't touched Bud since I heard they were adding estrogen. That's probably just a rumor but has your chest size increased?

Yep, you should see my man-cans. I cry a lot at movies too.

Seriously though, I went to a bar not long ago... in the South, that didn't serve Budweiser. Nothing but beers with cute or lofty sounding names. It just seemed... I dunno... un-American.

I've had good microbrews but it seems really hit or miss with'em... mostly miss with my taste buds (get it? "taste BUDS"? ... I crack myself up). When I want beer I'm thirsty as hell and I want it cold, cold, iced down and no surprises cuz I'm gonna swallow the first one whole. Budweiser is perfect for that.

I should qualify my beer ranting... I hardly drink at all, I still have some a six pack in the fridge I bought in November. ...damn, now that I think about it, that seems pretty un-American too.

Yep, my drinking days are long gone too but nothing tastes better with Mexican or a pizza. Hey, when that estrogen starts wearing off you're going to be real hard to live which will require the drinking of even more Bud. You got that budmonkey on your back forever.
Phil

UUmmm Budwieser is not an American owned beer company anymore.

But if you want to play the treeman beer roll. You might want to say Busch. "Only a Busch will feel right in a treemans hand." "You can't trust your busch with a treeman!!"

i like pbr and microbeers as well. i think pbr is a great version of the american light lager and for the money is better then bud miller and coors products.

it actually won some awards recently at the great american beer festival.

PBR was the beer of choice for my dad and I stole tons of'em. But the coolest thing was when they came out with 'Little Blues' the 7oz cans. When I was a kid, Pabst sold cases of Red White and Blue every July 4th for something like $8, quaffed a bunch of those too.

But I still like Budweiser, I don't give a damn if some foreign company bought it. Bud is still an American beer.
