What we do is quite special. Perspective is everything.

Jeez Swingdude. 1st the Teufelberger Male Model Pics, and now your slinging an 880 with a 4-footer. You're just making the rest of us look bad buddy. Ever since i showed my wife your pics she hasn't looked at me the same, and I have been suffering from some serious feelings of inadequacy.

Seriously, those are some of the best work pics I have seen around here in a long time! Keep that shit coming brother.

Wow I am humbled coming from you Rico. I am mediocre at best but try my hardest to stay safe and support my family. Thanks for the kind words.

Butt log 20K plus. Should have used opposing slings like usual but needed 2 more 12'ers. Plus the last 20'. Crane barely got it off and it's butt edge touched causing pivot ...missed yellow bldg by 2 feet. I cringed. Not my job. Mahogany is being repurposed for projects.2018-07-19 19.09.37.webp

Not often I feel like a pussy but damn 20K right next to house , I wouldn't want to be op or climber
Paul trust me got a bit of luck here. Would have been better with opposing slings, would have not arced so bad after he tried to lift and buzzer went off and the edge caught the stump.....but it held narrowly missing the house. Would only have hit if crane broke.....egad. truthfully not my job....op said he was good....and my buddy wanted log whole.....we were using a PK88 before and the PK150 was brought in....only had 2 20' and 2 12' slings....we were 2 12' short. That is it in nutshell. Never again. They would have sent the slings. Cranes like smoke in that lot. Lesson learned.

It would have been a crime to cut that log into smaller peices.
Could you box that thing up and warp-speed ship it to me for free Swing.
I will split the lumber with you 50-50!

PS. Got the chestie last night. Thanks brother. Cant wait to use it!

You know what really gives me the hebejebez about that pick is the use of a strap. Years ago we were making a butt pick with a strap and as it tightened up it melted right through the eye. I have been using chains now exclusively for about 4 years. Easier and faster to use and more piece of mind imo
