What Grinds Your Gears?

No picture but a couple months ago I'm climbing solo doing a no clean up removal. Homeowner comes out and starts dragging brush. Rather than yell at him from the tree to get out of the drop zone, I let him drag some brush for a few mins and take a breather. He eventually goes away, and I keep working. Then he returns, douses the brush pile in kerosene, and lights it as I'm in the tree. Smoke rising directly to where I'm at. I was not a happy camper.

The homeowner who wants to “help” all day, and proceeds to manage to get in the way of the crew all day long. Had one guy actually sneak by the crew member tasked with watching him and walk right up to me, under the loader arms, while I had a 2k+ tree top up in the air!

These awesome shirts that tend to pop up on my FB feed. It's comical how many people are in love with them. Reminds me of the metal kids back in high school who were always wearing shirts with their favorite band, tattered giant jeans, and some sort of metal necklace. Also kind of like the honda civic you see driving around with a giant sticker along the top of their windshield that says honda. Really?

Couldn't agree more, they pop up in my feed too. I worked for a number of years as a paramedic and would always see EMS oriented shirts with dumb slogans pop up in ads too. Jeopardizes the professional image we try to maintain in our careers, in my humble opinion.

I kid you not my sales rep warned me he might have me pour some of the material from the hose into the palms of a Virgin Mary statue so he could see it wasn’t clear.
