Was out at an estimate today and saw this Post Oak had slight damage on the side of it and the bark look fine so I went up to take a look at it. Everything under the bark was soft. I created this hole with my hand.


Of course I had to see how far I could push it.....

Yep up to my elbow! After pulling out 3 or 4 handfuls of mush I offered to install a tire swing for the kids!
