What Brand of climbing saddle do you use ?

BFII

I changed the ring out to a bigger one and have a caritool on the right side for my saw. I can hang comfortably in that saddle for a loooong time.

I might go with a shorter bridge... it's a little too long for a good angle when spiked in on a spar.

Started out with a Master classic but I shrunk out of it... I'm glad too, the butterfly is way better.

BFII is under my butt until my Treeflex makes it back from it's round of testing by some Buzzers.

Every harness that I have bought has been more 'perfect' than the last. Where will this end?

My favorite saddle I've used is the saddle I have now, the buckingham traverse, although I would like to upgrade it to the deluxe as the padding is obsolete on this saddle.

Maybe I'll pick up a different saddle aftering trying a whole bunch out (in particular the treeflex) at the conference...

Sounds like you may appreciate the TFX with those points Blinky : ) The blue attachment point makes a great anchor point when on a pole, and it has a large ring and 3 different sized bridges.

No surprise on what I'm using - TreeFlex. It was the Navaho Variobelt with fastclips and sidestraps before then. I need a clip point for a chest ascender. Frogging makes so much sense.

don blair ultralight, i think the same as babbernys. its a little heavy but i love it. its tough and lasts about 2 years. havent really tried the newer saddles

Yes, I'm on my second one (the first got stolen long before it wore out). I like it for similar reasons to Rich and his glide: it is modular, so I can pull out the belt and add or subtract rings/hooks/pouch to suit my needs. I graduated from an old Buckingham of almost identical construction, only the sierra has more nylon and less leather (lighter/cooler), wider back pad, and has two sliding D's instead of one.

Tom D. turned me onto it, but by the time I bought one he'd moved on to the next big thing. I am too cheap for that, so I've had the same saddle for years.

SO it was the model with individualy leg loops and a bridge-Like a Weaver 1036 or Buck 1349?

not sure about the model #'s, but that sounds right.

Yeah that is the one... but since it has 2 Ds on the bridge it is like a Weaver 1038. I always thought that looked like a good saddle but kind of pricey considering the apparent similarity to the Weaver that costs half as much..... of course look alike doesn't always mean act and feel alike.

My favorite right now is the Treemotion.

Could you possibly expand on that Mr Chisholm?
