Vehicle size for drive to Expo

Five of us guys are making the nine hour drive to Expo so I'm lining up a rental vehicle.

Three options...but I'm not sure which will give us enough room.

Mini-van...might be best. Two in front seat...two in first bench seat...fifth in the wayback.

Dakota or Colorado size pickup...will three guys fit in the back seat for ninc hours?

Full size pickup...same question...I know we might fit better, but, will it be comfy enough?

My buddy has a quad cab dakota. We did a 5hr drive in it a while back and with two of us in the back it felt o.k. but 3 would be tight. I would go with the mini van. Have a good trip.

Van for sure! Truck - why? Everyone buying huge stuff there? I don't think you'll be buying enough big stuff to justify the lack of legroom. Plus, what's the payoff for one guy's big purchase? He doesn't pay shipping?

9 hours, go with comfort!

Soutwest Airlines Boeing 737 would be my vote. Use some of that pile of money you make as TreeBuzz a founding father!

This is a company trip so five of us are coming.

drive to apex and convoy with me and codit--i have a 7-belt van, which would be pretty cozy for 7 guys though...or could just take out the seats and 5 sit in a circle? wear saddles and clip in where the belts go?

it would be only 6 going back as i am flying out of bmore saturday

If you can get one I recommend the Jeep Commander. Might not be greatest on gas but it rides nice. Came back from ISA in Chicago in one. The middle row actually sits slightly above the front seats.
