Treestuff's New Website

Last couple orders with Treestuff have been frustrating. Tried to order the Husqvarna battery chainsaw and found they don't carry it anymore. 7 days ago I ordered cabling supplies for a job I have scheduled for tomorrow. I called to ask why it hasn't arrived and they said its out of stock and it would be a month before it shipped. Nothing on the webpage said it was out of stock, I called and talked to them before ordering and nothing was mentioned, receipt said arrives in 2-7 days. They looked into it and found cabling they are sending out but I still have to totally reschedule my work week. Never had these problems until recently. Where else is everyone ordering from?

We order (and pick up) from Gap Arborist Supply. They haven’t had a problem they with not having something we need, and the service is the best in the business. They stock all your cabling supplies, but they do not currently sell chainsaws.

Still 3 hours from me. Might have to make a weekend road trip! I need to find a real deal storefront with inventory. Closest thing I've got to that is 40 minutes/ Buckingham showroom in Binghamton NY, which is great but limited on products for arborists
I have had terrible interactions with treestuff since the new site promo. They have made it more than good for holding up progress, but I won't order again until I hear some positive reviews. Sucks because I used to be the guy with the huge treestuff stickers on everything, bought all my gear through them, nothing but good things to say, constantly recommending them... And now I can't. One thing I just can't understand, how? How are they that busy? There's only a few arborists out there, and we don't all order from the same place on the same day! I've worked at multiple establishments that hired short term staff for the holidays to supply/demand. I believe it was called labor ready. Hint... Hint.
 
I used to order a lot from TREESTUFF.
They seemed to have everything. Also, their old website was extremely easy to order from. Could put together a large order quickly and pay and be done. I cannot understand why they would change their website

Also, their inventory is not what it was.

Same here. I'm talking out of my arse but maybe its a case of the old swallow the competition and then phase them out?

She looks a lot better than the websites.
Treestuff‘s old business philosophy was to carry almost everything that an arborist could want/need. Now it appears they carry only what sells the most, making money is now their only concern.

I order (and pick up) from Gap as well. The 14 hour drive one way is a pleasure...except when you run into a wreck on the interstate that shuts everything down.

Sounds like they make up for the lost sales in tracking bugs
 
Welcome to the Buzz, it must have been nice being close to them back when they had counter sales and actually had things in stock.
