TreeStuff used to be great!

Ummm.. I'm not sure sure Timbr.. just so i don't get anyone all excited.. I'm pretty sure the 15% was to compete or match the current Jambo5 Tree Stuff coupon.. I could be wrong thought.. I can call & ask Ray if he's cool with it.. I'm pretty sure if you called yourself he'd give you it. They just recently opened up a dedicated Arb location so the number is different, but if you call the normal by Gap Power # they'll transfer you or provide correct... IDK why the code wasn't posted anywhere... All i do know is it's rather ironic I'm talking to you about pricing as me & him spoke at length about industry pricing, insane markups, shipping, etc, on everything ARB related for a good hour or so on wed when i called for some advice on something...
Ah, thanks for this answer. That makes sense, that he'd be willing to do a price match to win your business. It is done pretty often in most areas of commerce. I would not expect that they would do this on a continuing basis, but it would be nice if they let customers know about any good deals available, the way that TreeStuff does with their flash sales. Thanks again for your time.

And sometimes they still are. I ordered some crane slings and other misc stuff there last week. Everything I wanted was in stock and showed up a couple of days later.

Hey Timber...
I'm sorry i never got back to you.. I'm having a hard time recalling but i think i may have called & he had just stepped out or i completely forgot all together.. either way i know i called the other day, i just don't know for what & whether it was before or after we spoke.

So you think the price match was to gain biz?? Kinda stroke job me in their direction..? Lol.. IDK.. i wild shine the price matching would be the standard by which they do business & the heavy coupon the icing on the cake too get me there. I say this as i went into detail & insinuated a scenario where i found items for half the code & asked if they would be covered.. the response was something like "well yeah, i just told you we price match silly, it would be a done deal"..

Either way, i always have employees price match stuff.. there's only been one scenario where someone wanted to walk the price matching scenario back & not do it.. but in the end they did.

I got no beef with Treestuff with the exception of Sherrill mistakes, like order mix-ups, taking 5 plus days for an order that should take 2 or being out of stock & not relaying that to TS to relay to customer..

I have to admit, i don't like ordering rope through TS, just for the fact that Sherril is involved. It just takes forever when other much quicker, cheaper, options are available..

After ordering something from TS only to find out 4 or 5 days later it was out of stock with a waiting game being played on when it will be back in stock on the NC end, i spoke with TS & they were more than helpful, offered compensation, credit, etc.. I finally received the edited order & one of the ropes is the wrong kind & another is different than what i was told it was going to be.. Again i called up, got compensated, no problem, everyone was kind & helpful as usual.. I still don't have it & it's rounding two weeks since original order..

I'll tell you what though..
Monday i decided i needed some Cordage & for odds & ends for rigging tools.. I realized GAP has free ship on everything, has better pricing on per ft cordage.. some stuff about 20 cents..(I won't say that as a blanket statement across the board but what i wanted was significantly less expensive). I also called up & asked if they also had a discount code & indeed they did.. 15%!! Nice..!!

So.. Free Ship on everything... Better original pricing.. + another 15% off?? Yeah.. I'm sold.. I put my order in Monday & all my Cordage was here yesterday...

Im not trying to knock TS because they have been more than fair with me, but whenever Sherril is going to be involved i cringe & hesitate just out of spite because of the extra time the Cordage takes.. Like i was saying.. i always would avoid it..

But Gap.. imma be going there for my Cordage.. it's a no brainier.

Oh.. btw.. they stuffed the box with an extra 10ft of 10mm OP. Mistake or not..idk..i just know it wasn't short, the wrong cord, not as i was told or out of stock..

Holler at Ray.. guy will stop what he's doing, not hang up until your good & get your order out same day..

Hey Hsell, I have called plenty of times for various reasons.

If you would like to prove me wrong, please do so. Call and get Pfanner back in stock this week, as well as APTA and dynaglide.

Make the change you want to see, don’t just suggest it!
I’ve got an APTA, Protos, & Stable Braid which all came from TreeStuff.

Have you called this time?

So I just ordered climb line yesterday from Sherrill, it came to just over $5,000.00.
I ordered (8) Hi-Vee 1/2 x 150 eye splice one end,
(16) Hi-Vee 1/2 x 150 eye splice both ends,
plus I ordered 1 Notch Tri-Guard ,
Shipping was $600, supposed to get it Tuesday,, I will let you guy's know,
I wanted to use Bishop, but they do not sell Hi-Vee 1/2 x 150 with eye splice on both ends.
I have 8 climber's, so I can cut those in half and they each have a new 75'.

In fact, except for certain hard to find items I stick to Canadian vendors only now due to our shit exchange rate. You can thank Trumpty Dumpty for that!
The exchange rate was in our favor before the current President was in office.

And before you assume, I’m not speaking 2nd hand:I was there in the winter of 2016.

Plus y’all’s Petrol rates have been horrible for years.

Not that it will get it in stock, but ts immediately sent out an email about the pfanner shortage when they received their last resupply. Something along the lines of "if you need it buy it now." They cannot control pfanner production.
Yes they did.

Yes but Trump is hurting trade, he’s making things worse. For the USA ! He’s making an island of that country. We will be fine, we get stuff from other parts of the world. So personally I don’t really care. But when you here Canadians say “ I won’t be going south to do shopping because our dollar dropped 8 more percent!” The US is losing business!

Our dollar does not drop simply because of Trump. Confidence in our CAD dollar tanks when idiot Hair Pierre does what he does and makes us a socialist laughing stock on the international stage. Add in all the stupid crap of not allowing us to demand an international market price for our oil and gas by blocking access to ports via pipelines and our dollar will always suffer.
I always buy local too when the product is available. Once we get rid of Trudope and start promoting business investment we will have a stronger dollar. You can't blame Trump for that. We need to clean up in Ottawa and rid ourselves of the Libtards.
