Treestuff Spending

Wow. 4K in one drop. What did you order
Oh you know the bare essentials. Lol
Some super fly outfits and some bling to complement.
Did get me an apta and rope runner...finally.
Couple grand in pfanner stuff, new protos, boots, climbing jacket, three jackets (one for me and two crew) two more pairs of stretch airs so I now have a pair for everyday of the week. I'm used to paying $400+ for ski jackets, $250 for a pfanner jacket seems like a deal...so buy three right?

Actually I think the only thing I bought that I needed was the chipper knives.

Good for you!! All a tax write off and it's good to buy nice stuff. We all work pretty hard and deserve it.....right?

TreeStuff has definitely contributed to me becoming a gear junkie. Great place to buy gear. Good prices and service. I still have a few more hours today to get in on the cyber Monday sale.

Ok... dropped a few hundred on the Turkey sale. The APTA was just too much to resist. Of course, I couldn't just have ONE thing in the cart... so...

Frank, you can do the "doing business as" thing and probably not pay any extra taxes for quite awhile... then, if you want to gear up with some big stuff, bring in a family member or two, and ramp things up you can get an accountant. They're surprisingly affordable and can give you great advice on easing into it painlessly. A talented, smart guy like you will have fun and probably enjoy the hell out of it! Just sayin'. The wife has even decided that she likes it better than the corporate rut, and wants to just work with me starting next year. Guess I'll have to get used to having a boss. :endesacuerdo:

Y'all are crazy! I've been full time in trees for about 5 years and have only spent $3700 since Nov. 2012. I bought my first setup at a local shop for 1k or less. My $3700 from TS includes 3 or 4 pairs of $300 boots. I have always thought I had too much crap, I've given away heaps of gear as well... I don't know, tree climbing is going the same way as skiing and rap music, it's all about the bling bling I guess.

Damn, the wife found me out. I ordered some pants and an arborwear canopy jacket last week before the sale came on and she saw the hit on the account. Ha e to figure w different way to sneak this stuff in.

All things in moderation, right? In 2014 I dropped around $7000 on TS. Down to $1200 so far this year (mostly fiber)... maybe I have everything ;). $600 waiting in my cart for the Turkey sale.

Just dropped another 300 there today. Hope all you guys went and added the TS throwline cube for free. Add it to cart and put Free Cube in comments if you spent more than 250.

Gonna have to put on a tree guy stripper show for her...just started working on my wife to allow me to start a stripper business (me of course) targeting the local sororities. Still a write off.

I just buy and try a lot of stuff. All my bling is functional. Defiantly not a minimalist though.
