Treestuff Spending

That's cool Steve, I'm not trying to be a dick (or maybe I am), but I know that you actually use the stuff and you always give us feedback about what you're using, which I greatly appreciate. If it weren't for you, I may have dropped 14k as well!

I just don't have any cheap hobbies. Climbing, hunting, boating, fishing, motorcycles (years past). About the only thing I hate spending money on are new trucks. Well except when I got the new boat, then I had to get a better truck to tow it with, lol.

Talking bout Treestuff.... They are way slammed! Usually when I order some some, it's on it's way by the end of the next bussness day, even with a splice or two. I placed an order round 6 am Thursday morning,Thanksgiving.I knew there would be a delay. I still have not received a shipped email. Over the years of buying a bunch of shit, half which I don't need, we have been getting spoiled on there speedy shipping.
I did mention the free Treestuff throw cube though. My stuff is not on its way yet and I have an order fixen to go!
Jesus Christ!

I've spent around 5000 in the last two years on my gear through them. The first fifteen years in this business I might have spent 1500-1800. Then I thought there has to be a better way. I tried one new thing and I got addicted. I just ordered almost 1700 worth of stuff today. Can't blame that one all on me though. My five year old daughter has been asking for a saddle all year so might as well get the whole kit plus a few extras for her.
I missed the free throw cube. I thought it said coupon code not comments section. Damn damn double damn. Oh well, I'll be happy with another buff or pair of wonder gloves.

Something not right there. I placed an order last night around 10 pm and it's already on its way this evening.

I sent mine in at lunch today and had to call about my email receipt being messed up. Somewhere in the inter web things got crossed but we're good on their end and sent me another receipt. Eric was the guy I got on the phone and he tolde I'd have it by the end of the week. Not sure if it'll happen. They have got to be slammed right now

I was shopping on treestuff and after reading this thread I had to tally it up. 2 pages of orders since May 11/2014 until now. $13397.74 and another $992.15 on top for shipping to Canada EH! I think I was better off not knowing! But......you gotta spend it to make it, and thankfully you can write it off. Cant forget about racking up the air miles on the visa too!!

Just started this spring and have spent about $4000 with 34 orders. Which is A LOT higher than I thought it would be, it really does add up. But that's gear for the whole family and being able to climb together is priceless.

When I compare it to some of my other activities it's actually on the low end. Plus I'm actually getting work done in a better, safer, more efficient way managing all my trees compared to the "inventive" ways I did it in the past.

As a simple comparison to my track riding, I'm in for about $50,000 (I'm at the peasant low end) and it cost about about $1000 a weekend in tires, gas, and fees. With tree climbing I can do it anytime for "free", and save money with heating cost when using the wood furnace.

Well, this is the selling point to the wife anyway, feel free to borrow it just replace the "As a simple comparison to _________" with what other crazy thing you blow your money on.

Try a separate bank account or, grow some balls. Seriously Oakman, I'm saying this as a friend, you deserve a new pair of pants and canopy jacket and... probably a blumpkin.

$21,652 since 2011...
And I have bought stuff from Sherrill, Bartlett, Shelter tree, Baileys, and wesspur too...
YIKES! Don't tell Kim :-)
