is this the next quiz? you guys keep talking your personal crap. lets get on with it. By the time i get to check this thing, it's either an easy picture and someone has already named it, or your talking crap.

where is fantasy island, disney world or something?

how about white freakin' oak?

Sorry, X! I didn't think I had a turn. It is up to the winner to keep the thread going, no?

I will muster a guess with Black Oak, just to be different from you LOL.

Hi Xman,
Please remember this is JUST a game. A little friendly banter "between rounds" from time-to-time is fine.

Besides EZ is busy this weekend managing the CAA TCC so a little patience would be in order and greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The White Oak guess is wrong, but I think you knew that.

I will try to keep my personal crap off of this thread, which in a way will be good, because then I can overload all of the other threads with more of my bowel movements.

If you were a doctor, your patients would probably say that you have a horrible bedside manner, but you're such a good doctor, they would put up with it.

Somebody post another picture before Xman implodes with furious rage, then spontaneously combusts in a fiery ball of doom.

Why thank you for saying that Diane!

Oops, this is more of that personal crap that we should try to avoid!

Sorry, Xman

It looks to be about 110' or maybe taller?

The structure looks like Quercus to me.

I need to keep looking at it, maybe the answer will magically come to me.

And thanks for not spontaneously combusting, as I am only a mere 3 or 4 states away from you.

SZ

I'll start with Quercus falcata. Not feeline strong but worth a shot.

Sorry for my part in the personal crap. I was just waiting for the next post, keeping the thread active.

don't mind me, thanks for appology anyway though.

The bad side of me likes to sometimes write "mean" stuff just to make myself laugh. (usually on a weekend after a few beers). I know I'm a azz on the buzz sometimes, but maybe i keep it lively.

But honestly I'm just playing and most of the time I am not really bothered by things. I just pretend to be bothered or say what comes to mind.

Back to the game.

Not a Quercus specie.

This big tree was about 80% hollow at its trunk base and leaned slightly toward the house behind it. Oh, and it had the Euro Giant hornets in it also.

Killed them in the dark (5am) and set a line in the tree and pulled the whole thing over. The other tree services that bid were sky high. Several said they were going to have to take it down by crane.
-----
me up in tree setting a line. i don't remember thinking about how high it was, I'd guess it was 118 to 122' or so.
