Trees from a distance

As it went into it's individual leaders, most had rot and decay, due to the tight V crotches. you could honestly lay down and take a nap in the huge area between the leaders though. lots of past dirt and leaves and twigs filled the middle, and a mat of roots or course.

This tree was the only tree that I had cabling hardware in that failed.

one leader broke in say, 2006. after that, We put in at least two cables per leader. the fresh break you see in this picture, well, it pulled out a 5/8" lag and broke a smaller leader that another cable was in; then snapped that lag out when that small leader stopped movement from it's cable.

it didn't fall on anything luckily, but I was disappointed.

we do maybe 50 cables a year and I've been installing since 1995. this is the only tree that has failed.

owner said it was time for it to go.

and it would reach her house and wires and a saucer magnolia and a hemlock, so there was targets.

Here you go. Original rules apply. No hints, no clues, just a blurry picture. Only one guess at a time please. If you post more than one I'm going to read the first one only. Have fun

This is called the 'rope-a-dope' in boxing... aka 'Taking one's eye off the ball.' I'm having enough trouble with the one in the middle LOL.
