Trees from a distance

There kinka far away, duh. I don't know Tom are they grafts? What do you know about these trees. I'm thinking there's some kind of story behind them.
 
I took this pic one day just because these trees look like they own that house. Go trees. Farm country NYS.

No, they are not grafts, that's the kicker! Very rare to see weeping cherry with original rootstock, let alone 50 footers! If you look closely at the trunk you can see the distinct lack of a graft union (a natural root flare and branching pattern). I was pretty amazed when I found these trees!
