Here's a one for you to ID. It's not a redwood, even though it looks like one.

The branches and cones look like Sitka Spruce, even though the trunk and bark don't. That's my first guess, anyway.

Really?!? If that actually was your guess this one is yours Banjo! I'd never heard of it before today. I just did some wikipedia hunting under Pinophyta and then took a wild guess...

Definitely not hardy up here.
