Those are cacti. This tree is at the Tucson Botanical gardens.

okay lets try Acacia the bark looks green-blue maybe. i was having fun with you tom i did not take it personally, i know both are correct.

It's not an Acacia. Not sure about zones... I think it's like 8 or 9 through 10 or 11. It's in Arizona, and it's got green twigs. That's all I can give you at this point.

parkinsonia florida, i believe that is the state tree. how about that one

That's funny, I had to look that up. The plaque says Cercidium, which is apparently synonymous with Parkinsonia.

Hrrmmm........white cedar? Cant even really tell if those are broadleaves or scales, just the trunk form to me looks like an upbranched arborvitae covered in fruits.
