Treemotion vs Ergovation: convince me!

You bet. I'll assume autocorrect did that typo on you. ;)
It was one hell of a mess here in town, it will never feel the same. That storm changed my view and outlook on the field.
We met at that EHAP course at TCIA in November, I work for Jessie.

Sorry Chris,
Yes autocorrect is at fault. Did not recognize your new signature.
Hey, BTW, congrats on winning the speed climb at the TCIA Expo.
I went down to Goderich for that storm with my other gig, not tree work.
I have to agree it was a mess. Unfortunate for such a "pretty" town go through that.

I got the opportunity to work with this fantastic crew from Ayr. This was the largest of the 4 cranes that we used for the lift. Would love to have it on a few tree jobs.

Sorry for the derail....
Thanks for the props at the expo!

You were one of the elite few allowed on the square! Did you have to wear asbestos masks?
I spent a couple weeks working with the Public Works clearing roadways, a hydro span from the main beach that fed the hospital power and then slowly got back to private.
I found a 10 pound sledge in a pile of brush that could have potentially been chipped too.

Most of the tree company chaos was all along Picton St, getting everything to the road so huge skidder could load everything into a giant bin, which was in turn shredded at the old dump. I could derail and post pics for days about it, we had to get creative over and over.
Also had my first meeting with the ministry from it.

Super jealous of that crane, but I wouldn't have known what to do with it a the time.
You should see the square now! It's in great shape, some of the twine is girdling some of the planted trees though. Someone never went around removing all the twine during planting. :(

Treestuff sent me a TM. First two jobs were not the best tests but one made the rope bridge shine and I can already tell the padding is leaps and bounds better than my old Arbormaster master classic. I love the customization and I just ordered some singing rock porters and paddle style biners to compliment. Thanks to all of you for your help.

Old thread. Sorry for reviving.
Any Ergo owners have insight on the sizing. I had the edge. Got. Small and the waist had a mile of slack. Had the monkeybeev, a small is a lil small. I have a 32/33” waist. I wear my harness above the hips though.
The Ergo can be disassembled, has anyone flipped the rigging plates for the rope bridge to, essentially, liger-mod it?
Thanks.

Get both and alternate them according to the Work. If I could go back and not have bought all the gear i never use I’d have plenty to do that and the money would have been way better spent and my body would thank me. Either will work but I’ve been in both, and even though the Tree motion is fine, for all day crane jobs, removals or extensive cabling the ergo would be much more comfortable

I bought the Ergo cause I’m fat, & it looked “more comfortable.”

I wish I’d bought the Monkey Beaver.

Stay away from that chiro ..they make work for themselves.. I read your profile and at 23 sounds like your experiencing baby back syndrome.. It will get better (stronger) over time.

23 ha ha that is some funny chit...I just died with laughter...chiros are quacks...you need to stretch and do some resistance training using body weight....at 23 you obviously just need to get stronger....I am 50 and climb nearly everyday....

I like underwater resistance and stretching very much .. It's about to be 10 degrees the next few days and I climb almost everyday like you. May I just escape this soon to be frozen turd bomb and come to Barbados and swim and train with you..lol if not I do love the stamps from barbados that came with my og swing chestie though!
