Treemotion S Light

Thinking on trying the treemotion s light saddle, just wondering what Everyones opinions were on the hip connection buckles, I know they are not the snap connections, so curious as to how they hold up... Or thinking about the Sequoia Harness too.... About the price range I wanna spend right now just trying to figure the best option. Oh yeah, first post here! Been searching and looking up as much info a I can

They are nice, they don't have as many accessory hanging points as some of the other saddles but for me they have plenty. If they had any more I would just weigh more when I climbed, lol.

I rec climb and do production work in my TM.l. Do you mean the waist buckle that secures the harness to you? My 6 month year old light harness has fastener adjusters not snaps or connectors. It sucks a little bit watching co workers just throw there harnesses on in 2 seconds while im sliding mine up and pulling down my pant legs.... I love it though and wouldn't trade.

Got my NewTribe onyx in today.. Did some initial adjustments and hooked onto it..felt alittle uncomfortable at first but a few feet off the ground everything settled in and felt good! When I put it on it was right at my belt on my waist but when climbing it rose up a bit, but was fine and felt good, maybe more adjustment needed? Still alittle soon to know.. I do love the range of motion with the rope bridge..adding a micro pulley on and wow, quick motion !very light! When I get to a branch to walk it kinda is still riding up but proly just more adjustment needed! Any hints or tips would be great! All in all like it a lot!

I also pulled the strap that runs between the legs and rides the but. Just my preference, some guys prefer the strap there but I found that family jewels were safer when the leg pads had more room to move.

If your talking the waist belt then yes. Not to the point that it bothers me though. You might try shortening the leg straps a little. By a little I mean in 1/2" increments.

I initially had a problem getting my Onyx just right. I called new tribe and they patiently talked me through it until we got it perfect.

Most people don't have to call, but it worked out to be a great option for me.
