Todays morning job

Mark,
I did a few Pin Oaks and a Red in similar shape this season. No bucket here hense no choice. Take it slow and small and hope for the best. Someones gotta do it and its never the boss. It gets a little scarey but its worked out so far. Hey, is that the multi lead Silver (earlier in the thread) we cabled last fall in the other side of Freehold. You gave me a ride ,I climbed the other lead.
Shame if it was that was a real nice shade tree, I remember it well.

Hers a dead burr oak removal. I have been at the clients property for the past 5 days with a 4 man crew. His property has amazing Oak trees on it. It is also about a 2 hour drive from our shop and one and a half from my home. All of the work was prunning except this oak. The tree is on his neighbors property and he was tired of looking at it.

Under the tree are a ton of small trees and shrubs that are very valuable to the client and the nieghbor. It was rigged to another large oak via lift and then drift. We would tip tie everything with a butt rope at the cut. Lift it up and lets the butt drift and have to lift more to get the material to clear the plants. Some of the pieces were 30' to 40' away from the rigging point.

On the ground. This removal needed to be zero impact. We landed just about everything onto alterna mats.

And here's the end result. A clear view of the other side of the river, which happens to be Rumson- The home of Bruce Springstein for one. I'll post some pics of the afternoon job tomorrow.

Mark,

Nice pruning job on the hedge in the last pic. I don't think you did that or...did you?
