Today....

Nice work for this time of year in that location. I know of guys about 2 hrs from you that have been on 3 days per week all month and they have big bills to pay.

Three days a week all month? I think we’ve been working about two days a week due to all the rain!

Yeah, bet you cant wait til the monsoon is over. We've had a nice run of blue bird days here. Yesterday was 60-64 and today is 54. Sunday was 77.
Lucky you! That does sound nice! It’s 45 and sunny today, and will be about the same tomorrow; of course that’s on the two days we are off for the holiday. Friday the rain starts again. Welcome to Pennsylvania.

Yeah I know, lived most of my life there, cant wait to get back.

Im up in the Northeast corner of Pa by elk mountain ski resort. It's gorgeous, I don't ever get far from home before I miss it. We do get our fair share of rain, and snow! The trees I looked at today had at least 1/2" of ice on them.

She is now asking for a chainsaw. . . and she is all out of bubblegum!:musculoso:
The bride has been asking me for her own chainsaw for a few years now. I'm envisioning a frantic high speed run to the nearest ER or doc-in-the-box, both of which are at least an hour away....Sorry honey, but it ain't happening! How bout some new shoes instead?

If she is asking for a chainsaw, it must mean you aren't getting your stuff done to her satisfaction. If my bride would ever pick up a chainsaw I envision something lke the lady on youtube that never takes her finger off the throttle.

I dont think so. I always have 2 winters worth of dry firewood in the shed, and a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of milled redwood sticker and stack in the back 40....I think she just wants to be more helpful when it come to firewood duties... Now I can understand her feelings but nope, I aint doing it...This is when I should probably mention that my wife is extremely accident prone.

My wife nixed the idea. We live out and ambulances regularly get lost in our part of the county. We do have my mom’s 170 and i’m thinking of slowly starting Naomi on that this spring. She is not accident prone and has great situational awareness.

She is desperate to start the arborist life and climbing. She saw my old company’s chip truck dumping at the co-op she does for school and was ready to quit 4th grade and drag brush.

You go girll!!!

1am-2am Friday morning got my first cat rescue. A young stray who was stuck going on his 4th day I was told. My girl saw it at midnight on Facebook. One of the local weathermen for the news made a post about it so I ran right down soon as we heard about it.
Everything went smooth it was just dark and wicked windy so the only pics she got are dark and blurry but I got lucky and he came right into my arms after I hung out with him for a bit so I just rappelled down really quick, like 30ft or whatever so I didn't bag him.
Felt great...I'd love to do it again.
