Spent the last two days working this behemoth. This Hackberry was the happiest I have ever seen. The trunk didn't have any furrowed bark at all; it looked like the smoother skinlike surface that they have when they're young and vigorous, except that it's canopy was 80'+ in all directions and the trunk had to be close to 14' circumference around where we tied on the brake. My buddy got what he could from the bucket, but he and I still spent the entire second day climbing around


I'm not super proud of every cut, but on the side that got cut a little harder there was some horrific squirrel damage. That self grafted branch system was big enough the walk through it without ducking
