I just whip my throw line around the climb line 4-5 times. Very slick & narrow and unties easily. But it will weld slightly if you have to pull the throw line with your body weight.

Kline Tools makes a device for pulling wire or bundles of wire I suspect. It looks like a Chinese Finger Trap and will easily go over half inch line, maybe up to 5/8s. It is made of small flexible cable wire and has a loop on one side to pull from.

i think that is just part of his basic, non-glitzy personna of just plain hard working man, perhaps that is local fashion or even sig.

I know, it just cracks me up the way he presents himself. The guy is completely legitness but always is filming himself in a closet or his neighbor's backyard or something... I suppose it adds to the mystique. Hopefully his next video will be shot in the back of his chip truck while hiding from chatty customers.

If you check out some other vids on his channel you'll come to understand that the guy is an intelligent accomplished arborist.
He's a deep thinker and takes a philosophical approach to his craft, life, and relationships.
His whit should not be mistaken as clownish.
