This is the Akimbo

Ha, I tried with the Akimbo Tree, but the online shops wouldn't touch it because of copyright issues. A local shop might for personal use, I'm still fishing around. My trouble is most of my artwork is really just an interesting combination of other people's existing artwork.

But I have fun! :coffe:
 
Fellow Akimbo folks - Advice needed. :)

I am happy to say that I am graduating from my beginning harness and rope, and have the chance to upgrade. The saddle was easy, I have monkey-beaver on a UPS truck headed my way:bailando:

The rope is where I need Akimbo advice, I am climbing on Sterling Scion 11.5 and it's great but... I have heard there are better less finicky options. I am biggish (190lbs), and not in great shape so I like the larger (11.5-12mm range). I have no context beyond Scion to know if I prefer bouncy or static, it feels great to me.

This topic has been discussed before but now that you have had a few months to compare, which of your ropes play better with the Akimbo?

I have seen on Facebook mentions of Aztec and Kernmaster, what size? @Worthaug I think I saw some ideas from you?? Cougar plays nice but the old puke is gone now and I'm not sure about the new version. Any help is appreciated!

Hmmmmmm, :inocente: I'm more secure in my sexuality than a lot of guys, but if I'm already hanging out of a tree with a monkey and a beaver prominently displayed on my rear, I think the addition of a rainbow or hot pink rope might send the wrong vibe.

Do you know if Blue Moon is actually the same as poison ivy functionally? I could live with blue and orange.
 
Thanks guys, after researching all of these, going back over this thread and facebook, I decided to go with Blue Moon, I will post a comparison with Scion back here for the swarm of folks asking this same question next year. I might even start a new thread around January just to summarize Akimbo rope options. By then we will hopefully know more about the production model and a release date.
