WLL of 100kg on a particular list of ropes. WLL of 130kg with a different list of ropes.WLL of 100kg is crappy.
I'd still use it but it should be made for the 250lb men that'll likely be using it.

Guess I need to weigh myself with gear on. I'm a feather weight, but I'd imagine I could exceed picking up a piece and throwing it over my shoulder. I can already get my hitch to slip a little when i do so.WLL of 100kg on a particular list of ropes. WLL of 130kg with a different list of ropes.

Are you going to electrical tape it or whatSo far I'm not too fond of the tending point. It pops loose, on occasion, when I don't want it to.
it likes firm rope construction. squishy ropes don't grab too wellCan you share any off-the-cuff generalizations about rope constructions that play nice with the Akimbeau?
the tending point was a tough one to redesign. it has to release when pulled downwards bu you don't want it to let go too soon. it takes some getting used to. i find that if i loosen up my tending strap it doesnt pop out unintentionally as much. i use a shoulder strap with a short loop of cord prussiked onto it and a micro biner on that. i lengthened the cord a bit so the biner wasnt riding tight against my chest so muchSo far I'm not too fond of the tending point. Thanks for the tip. I am so used to tending over the shoulder with my lanyard and leaning back to rest.the tending point was a tough one to redesign. it has to release when pulled downwards bu you don't want it to let go too soon. it takes some getting used to. i find that if i loosen up my tending strap it doesnt pop out unintentionally as much. i use a shoulder strap with a short loop of cord prussiked onto it and a micro biner on that. i lengthened the cord a bit so the biner wasnt riding tight against my chest so much

PegasusFor all you boys and girls that got theirs already or are getting theirs soon, post a pic with how you plan on connecting it to your bridge...show us your biner, swivel, connection choice...need ideas!![]()
I like that a lot. Easy on and off. Only downside is it doesn't leave a central attachment point for Ddrt or a second system.Pegasus
