That's certainly a good idea and I will start doing that. I usually climb alone so usually there's nobody to warn. It's interesting how you can omit things when you're alone and then find when you're with someone, you've gotten out of the habit.
I intend to start giving an audible warning even when I'm alone - just to get into and maintain the habit of doing it.
