Like so many have stated, I did not start wearing ppe gear at the onset of my career. I know many good treemen that don't wear ppe gear. Do I think they are foolish, of course. I am in a constant battle with former workers who refuse to acknowledge today is 2008 and not 1978. We can not forget that everyone before today "took down all the big ones and never did they use ppe gear." Everyday I just try to do the best I can to represent where I want the industry to go.
