Systems "Registry"

Re: Systems \"Registry\"

Footlocking with one prussic is standard. I have been experimenting with muggs system, while i haven't found it user friendly yet, i feel very secure on one hitch. Its just what im used too.

Kevin,

Just a gut instinct. I am working to quantify it. I may be totally wrong. I have no problem with that. In fact I hope to be wrong. I see the value in change and adding systems.

Re: Systems \"Registry\"

Tony, i am mainly working on gut instinct too. Which is also the way i judge the strength of the tree i work off of. I think tree work is different than the other disciplines precisely because we are forced to use our gut to make decisions.

I feel srt and drt should be separated in the standards for different portions of them. There are unique characteristics to each and therefore a rule/standard applied to one may not be suitable for the other.

Gut instinct at your level is based on years of experience and takes safety into mind. Relying on that gut is much safer after years of experience. I know my gut is much different than when I was 20:)

Re: Systems \"Registry\"

Mark,

would you be able to list out what differences should be considered?

The TCIA SRT BMP Manual that's being worked on will set the mark for SRT.
