stupid hippies eating stinging nettles

You guys are wound too tight mang!

There was true natural science going on in that vid.

And it obviously flew Ihigh over your tightly wound heads!

And you call yourselves arborists?

Got something against women, or just "hippies" guys?

Is there a relationship between birds and stinging nettles at the base of trees in nature?

Is there a symbiotic threesome going on here that offends your delicate conservative principles?

Are your glasses fogged up from the steam of your own indignity?

I liked the vid in every sense meself!

I'd check into that X....
You got some shadow you're projecting there???

Funny thing I just started hanging out with a "nature woman", and we just shot a video about making stinging nettle tea on Friday.. I began editing today... That's hilarious huh?
I like wild edibles and think its cool to be on a tree job and just start eating.. On busy days, sometimes I'll forgo lunch, if I can pick enough wild edibles to get through the day..

I've been using raw meat compresses and green poultices (made from broccoli leaves, kale, Swiss chard and such) on the broken ankle and was up and running the bucket and skid loader on day 4..

I eat plenty of wild stuff. I wish they would have allowed my comment, it would have explained my problem with the video. I don't care to write it all over again right now. But in short, seemed like school children, doing something for attention. Way more better things out there to eat besides something with silica needles. They are tough enough on skin, why would you put that in your intestines? I know nettles well, those where too mature, btw. They don't need high nitrogen either, they grow anywhere here.

Daniel, you are pretty much a freak like them anyway, so it makes sense you agree with the video.

I thought you may be hanging out with a 'nature woman' Daniel... seems like you've been doing too much pruning instead of removals

On the other hand you've been much more pleasant lately... oh well

Ease up on the mushrooms X... you wild man you.

Sorry, I'm just pissy cuz Reg didn't get helmet cam video of the cottonwood removal.

Good advise RopeShield-

Seriously X, this is a super ignorant post, I know you're above this. You don't even understand the plant, the stinging part is on the stem, not the leaves. Nettle is also a really, really common food.

I watched Reg's cottonwood pull over, then this video popped up.

I can't tell you how much this video irritated me.

my comment tells my thoughts.

I don't know why it bothered me so much, maybe after a hot week?....

The thing I like about you best is your ability to fly off the handle over just about anything.

Way to keep it real. Those naturalists were asking for it, being all stupid and excited about nature. I can't (don't) believe you watched the whole thing. I slit my wrists at 1:47, and had to get my wife to drive me to the ER to get stitched up. I'm afraid to watch the rest as I might jam a screwdriver up my nose into my brain.

Nettles have hairs everywhere on them, right down the veins under the leaves, I'm quite sure of it.

But I'll look to make sure some day soon, as they are right on my property.

If you don't think they have hairs, I'll be happy to rub the underside of a leaf in your eye and lets see what you think then.

And thanks EZ.

I've disliked most hippies since I was a tiny kid. Maybe I was brain washed.

The manchurian climber?

Symbiotic relationships were as cool in the 60's as they are now,..man.

Does it bother you to cut down a huge healthy thriving tree Xman?

Do you ever feel like a paid assassin?

Do you admire and sympathize with your victims?

Are they just work?

I would likely walk away from cutting down a huge, healthy thriving tree and have done so many times.

I sympathize with the ones that are half dead, or really cool in other ways; but should be taken out due to they are dying or a hazard.

I've said it on many film clips, but haven't posted any of those yet. One that comes to mind, was an 80 or 90% dead, huge Red Oak in the woods this spring. Hired us to take it down. After I got in the top and saw how awesome the tree was, I asked for my cameras to be sent up, so that at least it could be appreciated on film and "live" longer on film.
