Yeah I can understand your hatred for hippies, all their peace talk and wanting to see people treating each other better and healthier lifestyles... man that just really gets to me too. Give me a break X,

I've said it on many film clips, but haven't posted any of those yet. One that comes to mind, was an 80 or 90% dead, huge Red Oak in the woods this spring. Hired us to take it down. After I got in the top and saw how awesome the tree was, I asked for my cameras to be sent up, so that at least it could be appreciated on film and "live" longer on film.

Let me just say this little tid bit, you would be hard pressed to find a better era than the 60's and 70's for really good music, art and literature it was a very creative time. Obviously there have been great musicians, artist and authors of every era, however as a whole the 60's and 70's was a kick a$$ time. If you can look past the drugs and sexual revolution you would realize these very hippie's contributed a hell of a lot to both european and American culture as we know it today. Artistically that is.

I would add socially as well. How have the lives of women, gay people, and minorities improved since then? I would say immensely. What about how the American youths reaction to the Vietnam war has affected how the US engages in armed conflict in the modern day? We haven't seen that amount of American youth lost since the Vietnam era.

sure banjo there are groups i like that party but i do not wish to live that lifestyle . danny boy is telling you to take LSD and chill . there are many people to look up to and admire . i do not think garcia is one of them , dont hate me for it just one mans opinion . if you like him cool different strokes for different folks thats all . why is it if you disagree with a lib they react with hate ??

Hey,
Nobody's perfect.. Ya garcia is one of my hero's.. a real shame what happened to him.. no one had the balls to put the brakes on when his life got so out of control... there were something like 350 insiders working for the band, making a good living, driving BMWs and such..

I've been clean since 85 and sober since 91.. been to a few rainbow gatherings since then, though they don't do much for me anymore. last time I went, only to introduce someone to new possibilities..

If you had to chose between acid and beer, how many of you would take the acid? (raise your hands)
