daniel glad you are clean now that is a great thing . nothing is meant to be personal here . i have grew up around drugs to . it just seems funny how people idealize the druggy people as though they have more intellect then the people that do not use drugs , like you need them to make you smarter then you are without them . just having fun here .peace... sometimes hippies do make me laugh !

Hey,
Nobody's perfect.. Ya garcia is one of my hero's.. a real shame what happened to him.. no one had the balls to put the brakes on when his life got so out of control... there were something like 350 insiders working for the band, making a good living, driving BMWs and such..

I've been clean since 85 and sober since 91.. been to a few rainbow gatherings since then, though they don't do much for me anymore. last time I went, only to introduce someone to new possibilities..

With this theme of crossing people off hero lists I have to ask...what about Edgar Allen Poe, Hemingway, Hunter S. Thompson, Eric Clapton...the list goes on and on.


People have failings, that's part of being human not super heroes. Oh, but look at Batman...what sort of depression does he carry?

Well said Tom, one's failing should never take away from one's achievements. The world seems to be at it's height of being judgmental to their peers always focusing on their pitfalls. I figure it's human nature to want to see people knocked off of pedestals, changes them back to being mere mortals somehow.
