yes we got permission to climb, inspect the crown and collect scion wood. By "we" I mean Ryan Russell got permission for us thank you Ryan!!!

That's a seriously fat tree! Some measurements that would be interesting to know: CBH, height, average crown spread. The height is probably not off the charts since it's open grown but the crown spread and CBH have to be huge!
