SRT Workshop

Over the top incredible. I learned so much that will make me more money, more easily (pretty much how I rate all my interest in tree learning and progress - sorry) and make it more fun to go out and do more tree work.

I met some great TreeBuzzers. Was surprised that Eric is Oceans of Treebuzz.

I'm thankful that they came out to the west coast (first TCIA SRT class put on here as I understand it) and shared their knowledge and passion for SRT with us. Good teachers/instructors (and they are way up in this category) give so much of themselves that I don't know how to thank them enough. If anyone is ever considering going to a program Eric and Jared are putting on, just go!

There was also a third instructor /facilitator, Chris from the local area, that was a great benifit to the course.

Am putting together gear orders now.

I would really like to see one come to the southeast, like Georgia. March would be perfect, give you a break from the snow and cold. I have a perfect location and facility.

I feel blessed to have been there. Good peoples. Chris, Eric & Jared ... thanks for everything. I hope to see you fellas again.
I could go to the same exact workshop and like a good book, learn something I missed the first time.

It would be nice if Treestuff, Wesspur, Sherrill etc would do 10-15% discount for attendees like sherrill does for arbormasters

I was there. Was an awesome class and learned a lot. Eric and Jared were very capable instructors/climbers. Chris was very good too, especially with fielding questions, pointing out what Jared and Eric may have missed, etc.
I was concerned it was going to be about getting product sold as some of the things I've attended have been but it was absolutely not that.
Due to a conflicting thing I could only go Friday but would highly recommend this to anyone looking to switch to/ learn more about SRT.

Got a roperunner, petzel rig, 200' tachyon, 200' 7/16 kmiii, 2 3/8" oval quick links, and a couple incidentals plus a dmm 70liter porter to stuff it into on the way!

Really liked Jarred's method of ascending your access line and pulling up one or more shorter lines, tying a alpine butterfly midline in secondary lines and attaching them to the access line before tossing the legs out to different sections of the tree

These guys should really consider doing some Gerry B style DVDs for the many folks who can't attend. I'd love to have them for all the stuff that I missed, went over my head, or have already disappeared into the fog that is my memory

Mostly for me it was seeing the way they explained/ gave ideas on how to implement the various gear. I've always been a fan of working with / being around guys who stop for a minute and say,"how can we use what we have here to make this job easier and smoother" and both of them seemed like that kind of guy to me.

The DVD and the training manual come as a set. You could always give the extra manual away (for a price). ;) If you can make it to EXPO in Pittsburgh, both the DVD and the training module will be discounted.

Just sayin'.
