Spring Splicing Symposium

well guys, i unfortunatly think i have to back out, my pickup is going to the shop as of today, wont hold an idle and feels as if im drivin with the ac on all the time, we'll see how much it sets me back, and if its not too much i might be able to afford the plane ticket, i am not happy

on a bit lighter news, i got my treeflex in today, cant wait to give it a try, if any of ya'll want to give the treemotion and treeflex a shot drive on down to jersey and ill let ya climb to your hearts content
 
Sorry to hear about the truck. Hopefully it won't be too serious and expensive. We will certainly miss you down here in KY, but we'll certainly see you at one of the upcoming TCC's. Take it easy and good luck with the truck.

The Splicing Symposium and exam dates are the same, so we figured we can always take the exam later. Also, we will be headed to the Southern TCC afterwards and I have room for two maybe three if anyone would be interested in a ride there and back..

No problem. If only you could bring the remote to your k-boom, then someone else could drive and I would just sit in the back and pretend.

I will be there 6:07p on the 11th. I could bring the remote but cant guarantee it will be as smoothe.

Maybe. I really wish I could go. my guess is the two days I miss we would do nothing. Mom will have none of that though. She would not let me miss school just to go learn how to splice rope, even though its on;y 3 days I would miss.It gets crazy with her sometimes.

OK, I got this figured out.

How about the next SSS as a spring break event. We will do it at, say, Daytona Beach or something. That way, you can take a few down days and get some education on splicing.

What do you think?

Seminar at the beach? And I'm supposed to pay attention to some bald dude with a fid? I don't know John....
 
The plans so far call for bonfires, a pig roast (cooked underground), a bunch of climbing, and oh yeah a little bit of splicing here and there.

There are a number of prepared campsites throughout the property, but my guess is that we will centralize in one location. We have loads of wood ready for campfires and tons of trees ready for Tree Boats. From what I understand the weather is March around here is hit or miss so I would be prepared for anything if you plan to camp.




I don't recall anything mentioned about wigs and bikinis, but you never know what House will do....

At least I hope what he is doing there is "interpretive dance." There is a pole in the background !!!! SCARY
 
If anything, House was enabling my interpretive dancing onstage. It was the morbidly obese piano player that was trying to put the kaibosh on my dancing.
