Show off them splices

Thanks,heres after some more maxi coat and a footlock prusik i made,i got smarter and dipped it before I whipped it lol

I trim them off... Tubing would be nice but it worked for me
I can't seem to get my scissors in tight enough to trim them clean to the whipping.

On your first pick sgriff, does the top of your whipping not thread through the cover? I figured it would be important to thread the cover to the core as much as possible to keep the cover in place.

footlock prusik is the same way,a portion of the whiplock passes through the eye itself,I figured thats how yale is making them from the factory soo fggg it.
 
I read somewhere that a person puts some tape on it then whiplocks over the tape,so mine have some painters tape in der,you can see it on the ring prusik,I tried to trim it up clean but you could also whip over the entirety
 
How about what length should i make this retrievable rig ring be? It's always gonna be overhead so i was thinking too long may be better than too short.
 

Have you spliced epi 9mm? If so how did you taper the cover. I believe its a 12 strand with 2 carriers. Thanks for the help.
 
Anyone know why my i2i splices have a S shape while my 24 strand splices look good
