Barks looks kinda cherry-like but could be popular or birchish as well.

Looks like it has big fat buds, u sure the buds are opposite? Sometimes branching can look opposite but a closer look at buds can show that isn't the case.

Buckthorn? Bark looks too light, but maybe that is the lighting?

I think you’re right I don’t think it is opposite anymore I think it’s a whorled
