Saka vs Velox?

I really like the multifunctions of that should saka. I did something similar by taking Richard's double barrel bungee idea and put the tubes and bungee around the bottom of my harness. The cord exits the tubes on the front right side of the harness and crosses over to a double sheave pulley on the left and goes down to the knee ascender. A very minimal foot strap can be used and is easy to store when not in use.

Slightly off topic, but do a lot of people use their knee ascender again after initial ascent? I usually just send mine down to the ground once I'm ready to go and rely on just my foot ascender if I have to go up again. Once I'm in the tree I'm typically climbing the tree so keeping another ascender on me just seems to get in the way.
I usually send my haas down after initial ascent. Sometimes I forget and it stays on my harness coiled up. If it doesn't get snagged, it's forgotten and no problem.

Mine stays clipped to my hip D, ready to deploy.

Personalty I don't like things on my Life Support side D's unless it's my lanyard. They are so convenient though, it temps me to use them. The other thing is having that bungee stretched out there, invites the snags, if it is a Velox or SAKA not so bad if the bungee gets broken but if it is the HAAS I think its going need a re-build. BTW, the SAKA bungee is going to take about 300-400 pounds of pull to break, so it it does get snagged, it is going to slap you like a MF when it lets go. o_O

Doesn't bother me a bit. Doesn't snag.
