Gerald you would never survive, it's not the cold temperature here, the ground is just too darn flat for you guys on the West coast.
You'd be walking on a 45o angle banging into all the trees head first.

A couple of weeks ago it dipped down into the teens here. Unusually cold for the coast, but very dry and little ice.

In spite of that I can honestly say,, I have been way colder in a 50 degree rain clothes all soaked with the wind blowing.
