Do you mean damage others to save the endangered or damage the endangered tree?

Not sure what you are asking

Habitat for wildlife.
Ok, well seriously all in moderation. Even a gentle prune or nailing up a bird house is wounding and I'd do that. Retrenching would depend on spieces, conditions, amount to remove.... Also we do work for all kinds of people SSO if they want to sacrifice 1 Norway maple or something generically over planted and it's there property I likely would. People hack away at trees for solar panels on rooves so why not for wildlife.
The problem with your polls guy is that you look for black and white answers for jobs that could take weeks of planning with people from different specialities. There are so many what ifs

Damage to trees to increase habitat.

You Canadians are commodians.
I'm reading back to see what this is response to and how it makes sense, I may need a little help.

Damage to trees to increase habitat - Any construction site that is building a new structure and needs trees pruned/ removed to make it fit would fit into this category. OMG out of the realm of possibility? No.

Your poll at the top leaves little wiggle room for case by case basis, I notice quite a few of the threads you start are like that.
