Radio advertising

$6K in radio ads this winter, mid-December to end of March. It is truly what kept us alive this winter. We did the same thing last winter and it worked great. Choose your station(s) wisely, or you will get a bunch of unwanted calls from non-homeowners who are bored.

Interesting. That's good feedback.

What was the script like for your ad Noel? Did you sell winter pruning? Did you get removals from it? Did you offer a winter rate?

Thanks.

I advertised bradford pear topping. (not really, I just wanted to give Holly something to jump in on---you are welcome, Ed.) No, really, I just talked about how we are CA's, tree climbing champions, fully insured, local, and really care. My latest one is almost entirely about how the trees in your yard are not just your property, but part of our urban forest. Proper care of your trees (including removing dead/dangerous trees) is actually a contribution to your community. We sold a little bit of everything from the radio ads. I don't offer a winter rate per se, but let them know that we do work cheaper in the winter, since it is the "off season"
